Projects for Peace

H.O.P.E. works with youths and adults to understand, identify, and manage conflict in their home, community, and country. Through radio broadcasts, street theater, and various public workshops, H.O.P.E. offers the spaces for people to receive and exchange information that contributes to social cohesion and the peaceful resolution of conflicts.
H.O.P.E. actively seeks out diverse youths to work within their peace education projects. Volunteers attend four-week training sessions before they are selected to become Peer Educators. As Peer Educators they will eventually lead public workshops and radio broadcasts, act in participatory theater troupes, and reach out to schools, friends, and neighbors.
